I’ve been in the behavioral health field for 14 years. Many of my clients are dealing
with common, everyday life struggles, and I am able to quickly get to the root issue
and guide them in their search for the best solution for themselves. I provide a
peaceful, safe, collaborative environment that promotes hope, laughter, and healing
to individuals, couples, and families looking to find solace and understanding in their
lives.I focus on marriage and family issues, anxiety, depression, relationship
problems, grief, LGBTQ, foster and adoption, religious and spiritual trauma,
spirituality, behavioral problems, and other systemic issues. I help the individual to
focus on their strengths, be empowered, and help them move forward in
self-confidence and self-esteem. I see ages 8+.
My practice philosophy is that you are the expert of your own life and I help you in
working on goals towards the next step, whatever that may be. My clients report that
they feel understood and they have gained a sense of purpose and clarity. My office
hours are by appointment and flexible.

Psychotherapist
Cynthia loves to help people recognize that their low points in life are not failures but lessons we can learn from and
embody. Clients can feel safe and transparent while in therapy with her by being actively heard, seen, and felt. Her
approach is adaptable and is focused on what is in alignment with each client. She uses a whole-person approach, by
helping others let go of what is no longer serving them. She helps others uplift their lives by prioritizing growth,
expansion and happiness. She recently obtained her Mindfulness Informed Professional Certification. She has experience
helping others develop coping skills, and has a focus largely on mental health, in particular with anxiety, depression,
mood disorders, sleep disorders, and trauma in adults. She has experience in grief and bereavement counseling, substance
abuse, medication-assisted treatment, mentoring and coaching, spirituality, abandonment issues, self-worth issues, ADHD,
and chronic pain/medical issues. She welcomes clients who are curious about changing their lives and want to ignite
their passion for their purpose, by practicing mindfulness and focusing on growth and inner peace.

Family issues, relationship issues, grief, identity issues, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and past trauma can make the present feel overwhelming. I work with clients of all ages—youth, young adults, adults, couples, and older adults—to help them identify and understand what is no longer working, what is causing pain and what can be done to move toward a more fulfilling life.
My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a forward-moving, values-based model. Together, we explore your current reality, identify the source of suffering, consider thought and behavioral patterns, clarify what truly matters to you, identify strengths, and create a plan for meaningful change.
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions and am happy to meet briefly so you can get a sense of my style and determine whether working together feels right. If you’re ready for things to work differently in your life, I’m here to help you move toward the self and life you desire.

Psychotherapist
I am a person-centered therapist who believes that every individual carries a story that is meaningful, powerful, and worthy of being heard. My work is grounded in the understanding that human connection is at the heart of healing, and building authentic relationships with my clients is one of my greatest passions.
I bring my own authenticity and gentle humor into the therapy room, creating a warm, safe, and welcoming space where people can feel as comfortable as possible to share their inner world. I want clients to feel seen, supported, and met exactly where they are.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills—to meet each person’s unique needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model; instead, I collaborate with clients to discover what resonates and supports their growth.
I work with individuals ages 12 and up, couples, court-mandated clients, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have experience supporting people through trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and relational challenges. I am also kink-affirming and sex-positive, providing a nonjudgmental space for clients to explore these parts of their lives openly and safely.
In our work together, I strive to create a space where you can bring your full self—your hopes, your questions, your strengths, and even the parts you may see as burdens or darkness. I believe those parts can be understood, integrated, and transformed into sources of insight and resilience. My role is to listen deeply, walk alongside you, and help you harness your own story as a foundation for healing and success.
