I’ve been in the behavioral health field for 14 years. Many of my clients are dealing
with common, everyday life struggles, and I am able to quickly get to the root issue
and guide them in their search for the best solution for themselves. I provide a
peaceful, safe, collaborative environment that promotes hope, laughter, and healing
to individuals, couples, and families looking to find solace and understanding in their
lives.I focus on marriage and family issues, anxiety, depression, relationship
problems, grief, LGBTQ, foster and adoption, religious and spiritual trauma,
spirituality, behavioral problems, and other systemic issues. I help the individual to
focus on their strengths, be empowered, and help them move forward in
self-confidence and self-esteem. I see ages 8+.
My practice philosophy is that you are the expert of your own life and I help you in
working on goals towards the next step, whatever that may be. My clients report that
they feel understood and they have gained a sense of purpose and clarity. My office

I am a person-centered therapist who believes that every individual carries a story that is meaningful, powerful, and worthy of being heard. My work is grounded in the understanding that human connection is at the heart of healing, and building authentic relationships with my clients is one of my greatest passions.
I bring my own authenticity and gentle humor into the therapy room, creating a warm, safe, and welcoming space where people can feel as comfortable as possible to share their inner world. I want clients to feel seen, supported, and met exactly where they are.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills—to meet each person’s unique needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model; instead, I collaborate with clients to discover what resonates and supports their growth.
I work with individuals ages 12 and up, couples, court-mandated clients, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have experience supporting people through trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and relational challenges. I am also kink-affirming and sex-positive, providing a nonjudgmental space for clients to explore these parts of their lives openly and safely.
In our work together, I strive to create a space where you can bring your full self—your hopes, your questions, your strengths, and even the parts you may see as burdens or darkness. I believe those parts can be understood, integrated, and transformed into sources of insight and resilience. My role is to listen deeply, walk alongside you, and help you harness your own story as a foundation for healing and success.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, specializing in trauma and crisis management. My work is grounded in both professional training and lived experience as a childhood cancer survivor—an experience that shaped my deep understanding of uncertainty, fear, and emotional resilience.
I support adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and major life stressors. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build effective coping skills. My work is trauma-informed and incorporates mindfulness practices to promote grounding, self-awareness, and nervous system regulation.
Through a humanistic lens, I believe you are the expert on your own life. Therapy is collaborative and tailored to your unique strengths, values, and goals. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, respected, and empowered to move at your own pace.
Life can feel overwhelming, especially when anxiety or past trauma continues to impact the present. You do not have to navigate this alone. Whether you are processing trauma, managing anxiety, or seeking greater clarity and fulfillment, I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you work toward meaningful and lasting change.

I believe that people want a better life. They put forth effort but often do not achieve the life they hope for. Over time, this can lead to discouragement and feeling stuck.
Psychotherapy is a process of learning, growth, and change. In therapy, I work with behaviors, emotions, thoughts, and interpersonal relationships. While we explore all of these areas, my primary focus is often on emotions—helping uncover what may be missing, unrecognized, or preventing meaningful change—and on identifying behaviors that support your goals.
As you develop new ways of responding, the people around you often respond differently in return. Trying new behaviors can also provide greater access to your underlying thoughts and beliefs, increasing your ability to think and act with greater flexibility.
Ultimately, the goal of therapy is to help you become the author of your own life—creating a life that is meaningful, authentic, and satisfying to you.

I believe therapy begins with feeling genuinely heard and understood. My goal is to create a warm, judgment-free environment where clients can feel safe bringing their authentic selves into the room, including the parts of their lives that may feel difficult, overwhelming, or hard to put into words. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and strengths-based. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each client to understand their unique experiences, identify their goals, and find strategies that feel realistic and meaningful to them. I use CBT, Motivational Interviewing, psychoeducation, and practical coping skills to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, navigate difficult circumstances, and build confidence in their ability to cope. I have experience working with adolescents and adults living with emotional distress, crisis, suicidal ideation, grief, and bereavement. Therapy is a collaborative process. I meet clients where they are, recognizing the strengths they already possess, and working alongside them to create meaningful and sustainable change.
